Veggies R' Us Fresh, Nutritious & Local

Launched in 1995, our Direct Client Distribution allows for everyday individuals to stop by the Borderlands Nogales warehouse to access fresh produce. Every Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, the Borderlands Nogales warehouse is open to serve the local community. Supporters are provided with an entire shopping cart full of produce, all for just a contribution of $5 for a minimum of 100 lbs.

Today, the Direct Client Service Program enables nearly 4,000 households from Mexico and 5,000 from Santa Cruz County, Arizona, to obtain an abundant supply of nutritious produce to help balance their diet and enrich it with vitamins and minerals necessary to maintain the healthy functioning of their minds and bodies. Children in particular must have this nourishment in order to grow and flourish.

There is no formal requirement to sign up for this service. Clients are registered on their first visit to Borderlands and receive a bar-coded ID card to use on subsequent visits.

 Any organization, as long as it's a registered organization, is able to access the Borderlands Nogales warehouse every Monday from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. We currently partner with over 100 organizations in this capacity, both throughout Northern Mexico and Southern Arizona. There is zero charge to Direct Agency participants.
